Pass Line: 1.41% house edge. The fundamental bet — you win on 7 or 11 on the come-out roll, lose on 2, 3, or 12, and establish a point (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10) otherwise.

Pass Line + Free Odds — The Optimal Craps Strategy
Step 1 — Make the Pass Line bet: Place your Pass Line bet before the come-out roll. If the come-out rolls 7 or 11, you win. If it rolls 2, 3, or 12, you lose. Otherwise a point is established (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10).
Step 2 — Take maximum Free Odds: Once a point is established, place the maximum Odds bet behind your Pass Line bet. The Odds bet has 0% house edge — it is paid at true mathematical probability. At 3-4-5× Odds (common at casinos), the maximum Odds bet is: 3× your Pass Line bet if the point is 4 or 10; 4× if the point is 5 or 9; 5× if the point is 6 or 8. At 10× Odds (offered at some high-limit tables), you can bet 10× your Pass Line bet in Odds.
Combined house edge at different Odds multiples: Pass Line only: 1.41%. Pass + 1× Odds: 0.85%. Pass + 2× Odds: 0.61%. Pass + 5× Odds: 0.33%. Pass + 10× Odds: 0.18%. Pass + 100× Odds: 0.02%. The Odds bet dilutes the overall edge on your combined position toward zero.
Why not Don't Pass? Don't Pass has a marginally lower house edge (1.36% vs 1.41%) but playing "wrong" (betting against the shooter) is socially antagonistic in a live setting and offers minimal EV improvement at high-limit RNG craps.
Come bets: Come bets after the come-out roll function identically to Pass Line bets — 1.41% edge with the same Free Odds backup option. Adding Come bets increases variance and total money at risk. For high-limit sessions focused on minimising house edge per dollar bet, sticking to Pass Line + Odds is simpler and sufficient.
High-Limit Craps at Crypto Casinos — Limit Architecture
Pass Line limits at RNG crypto craps: Most crypto casino RNG craps tables: Pass Line maximum $1,000–$5,000/bet. Some VIP configurations: $10,000–$25,000/Pass Line bet. Live dealer craps (Evolution Gaming) reaches $5,000–$10,000/bet at standard tables.
