How Oscar's Grind Works

Session goal: Win exactly one base unit per session cycle. Once you're ahead by one unit, the session cycle is complete — reset and start again.
After a loss: Keep the bet the same as the previous round (do not increase). This is the key difference from other negative-progression systems — you don't escalate on losses.
After a win: Increase the bet by one unit IF doing so would not cause you to exceed a +1 unit profit goal for the session. If a smaller bet is enough to reach +1 unit, reduce the bet to that smaller amount.
Example sequence (base unit: $10): Bet $10 → Lose → Bet $10 → Lose → Bet $10 → Win (now at -$10 net) → Bet $20 → Win (now at +$10 net — goal reached, cycle complete, reset to $10).
