Peru has a regulated gambling market — the MINCETUR (Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism) oversees gambling including casinos. Online gambling regulation in Peru is developing. Peruvian players use Yape (BCP's mobile payment app — 15+ million users) for P2P crypto purchases or Buda.com (which also operates in Peru) for USDT TRC-20 deposits at offshore Bitcoin casinos. This guide covers PEN to USDT flow, Peruvian gambling regulations, and the best Bitcoin casinos for Peruvian players.

A payment app is not a casino payment method merely because a person can transfer money with it. Yape, Plin, bank transfers and marketplace trades have their own terms, identity checks and fraud controls. Before buying crypto, read the terms of the exchange or marketplace, make sure the account is in the player's own name, and do not put a gambling reference in a transfer unless the recipient has specifically instructed it. A P2P trade should be completed only inside the platform's escrow and dispute process. Screenshots, pressure to release early, requests to pay a different person, and offers that move the conversation off-platform are reasons to stop rather than proof that a trade is safe.
For a first transfer, the practical approach is to use a small amount that the player can afford to lose, then reconcile every step: the PEN amount sent, the quoted exchange rate, marketplace fee, trading fee, blockchain withdrawal fee and final USDT amount. Rates and liquidity change constantly, so fixed spreads, arrival times and “best rate” claims are not reliable planning figures. Keep the order confirmation and transaction receipt. They are useful if a payment provider, exchange, casino or tax adviser later asks where funds came from.
USDT is issued on more than one blockchain. “USDT” alone is not enough information: the sending wallet and the receiving casino must both show the same network, such as Tron, Ethereum or another supported chain. Tron addresses and Ethereum-style addresses look different, but visual similarity is not a safety check. Copy the deposit address from the signed-in cashier immediately before sending, compare the selected network character by character, and never use an address copied from a chat message. A token sent on an unsupported network can require manual recovery or be unrecoverable. Network fees, confirmation rules and minimum deposits are set by the wallet and casino and should be checked on the live deposit screen.
Keep a separate self-custody or exchange withdrawal wallet where appropriate; do not assume a casino balance is a savings account. Secure the email account, use a unique password and two-factor authentication, and retain recovery information offline. A casino may request identity, address, payment-method or source-of-funds evidence at its discretion before a withdrawal, particularly for large amounts, AML controls, or other risk reviews. A “no KYC” label does not waive that possibility. Upload only through the operator's official verification channel, redact information only when the operator permits it, and do not open multiple accounts to avoid a review.
Withdrawal planning starts before a deposit. Read the current withdrawal currency, network, fees, minimums, wagering conditions and account-verification rules. If winnings will eventually be converted back to PEN, consider the off-ramp's limits, pricing and reporting records as well as the casino's withdrawal route. A modest test withdrawal after a successful account check may expose address or network mistakes, but it cannot prove future payouts or an operator's solvency. Preserve transaction IDs and a simple ledger showing dates, PEN values, crypto amounts and the purpose of transfers. For material sums, a Peru-qualified tax professional can explain how current SUNAT reporting and tax rules apply to the individual's facts.
Peru has rules for land-based casinos and an evolving framework for remote gambling. The legal position of a particular remote operator, game, promotion or payment arrangement can change and depends on licensing and location. This page is not a statement that any offshore site is authorised in Peru or available to every resident. Check MINCETUR information and obtain local legal advice when consequences matter. If a site blocks a location or its terms say it does not accept Peruvian customers, do not try to bypass that restriction.
Finally, treat crypto's speed as a reason for stronger limits, not for larger stakes. Set a PEN spending ceiling before conversion, exclude borrowed money and essential expenses, and use time-outs, deposit limits or self-exclusion where a service offers them. Stablecoins can reduce price movement relative to other cryptoassets; they do not reduce gambling loss, counterparty, fraud or legal risk. Stop if gambling is becoming a way to solve money problems, and seek support from a trusted person or an appropriate local health service.

Do not assume that availability means authorisation or eligibility. Remote-gambling rules, operator terms and enforcement can change. Check current MINCETUR information and obtain Peru-qualified legal advice where needed; respect any country restriction shown by an operator.
Check the payment provider's terms, complete cost in PEN, identity requirements, and the casino cashier's live asset, network, minimum and fee. Use only the official P2P escrow or exchange process, retain records, and confirm the receiving network before any transfer.
Operators, exchanges and payment providers may apply risk, identity and anti-money-laundering checks. They can ask for identification, wallet history, bank records or an explanation of funds under their own terms. Keep P2P receipts, transaction IDs and conversion records, and submit documents only through the official account process. A request is not a guarantee that a withdrawal will be approved.
Choose only a network displayed as supported by both the sending wallet and the casino cashier at the time of the transfer. Compare the network, address and minimum deposit before sending a small test amount. Fees and confirmation times vary, and a transfer sent over the wrong network may not be recoverable.
